Fife’s specialist patchwork shop since 1987
For nearly three decades, Very Crafty of Lower Largo has opened it’s doors to crafters and patchworkers across the whole of Scotland. As the only specialist patchwork shop currently in Fife, our store is a treasure trove of supplies for anyone with an interest in patchwork, cardmaking or needlecraft.
Our business started in 1987 by two women with an enthusiasm for patchwork – and a whole lot of pink fabric to sell! Trends in crafting have constantly changed over the years, and we’ve always done our best to keep up. Our store continues to expand in stock and, after one move along the street to a bigger location, we now have a large store with two levels, a ‘coffee corner’ and a workroom.
Everything for the crafty customer can be found on our ground floor as well as our cafe, while gifts and other items are located on our second floor. Visit the ‘Gallery’ to see images of our store, or click through the tabs at the top of the page to browse a range of our latest products.
In our large workroom upstairs, we hold a wide variety of classes teaching patchwork and quilting techniques, embroidery and cardmaking. For our most recent class list, please visit our ‘Workshops’ page.
We also take part in a number of events across Scotland as well as hosting a few of our own.
You can find us at the Spring and Autumn Quilt Shows at Ingliston, Edinburgh, and also Quilter’s Guild Area Days, where we have a large stall with our latest products on sale.
We host a bi-annual Quilt Show in our local area to showcase the work of our customers, tutors and students. Every August, we hold an Art Exhibition by two local artists on the second floor of our shop.
